Active Ingredients OF 7HP Hair Regrowth Treatment
Minoxidil USP 7% w/w, Horse Placenta Extract 1.67% w/w, Dutasteride 0.1% w/w, Oxytocin 0.1% w/w
- Minoxidil is an antihypertensive vasodilator medication and is used to treat hair loss. It is available as a generic medication and over the counter for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, a form of hair loss, in men and women.
- Horse placenta is a rich source of amino acids, physiologically active peptides, proteins, fats and fatty acids, carbohydrates, mucopolysaccharides, vitamins, minerals, nucleic acids and several enzymes which play significant roles in important biochemical processes in the body. Besides these critical nutrients, horse placenta also contains key growth factors such as HGF, NGF, EGF, IGF, CSF and interleukins that are essential for overall growth and immune strength of body.
- Dutasteride is an inhibitor of the enzyme 5 alpha-reductase, which is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Dutasteride is unique by blocking both Type I, II and III forms of the 5a-reductase. Dutasteride is 3 times more potent than Finasteride at inhibiting Type I 5a-reductase and 100 times more potent at inhibiting Type II 5a-reductase.
